Unassuming yet powerful stories of belonging from young Victorians, bringing the state’s multicultural values off the page.
The Victorian Values Statement is the centrepiece of the Victorian Government’s Multicultural Policy Statement. Wherever we were born, the language we first spoke or the faith we follow, these values support and celebrate our diversity and our contribution as Victorians.
The Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) needed to find a way to make the statement more than words on a page for young people. With the help of some extraordinary and brave young people and Scouts and Girl Guides Victoria, we captured some unassuming and yet powerful stories of belonging.
