A cinematic advocacy film that helped secure $2 million for a world-class robotic surgery training centre.
The Australian Prostate Centre (APC) needed a film to advocate for and secure government investment to build a centre for excellence for robotic surgery. The technology was the natural hero of our film and it’s venerated with a near sci-fi cinematic treatment.
The simple interview set ups allow Prof Costello and our other storytellers to support these visuals with the expansive benefits of their vision for a world-class facility designed to advance expertise in robotic surgery not just in Australia but globally. The APC was successful in securing its target of $2 million in funding and the Australian Medical Robotics Academy is an active, state of the art simulation facility training the robotic surgeons of the future.
